The EZ Digital Plus indoor timer features one 3-prong grounded outlet and is ideal for lamps, portable fans and holiday lighting. it also has a "random" vacation mode that will randomly turn on/off the lights up to +/- 30 minutes from the programmed times to give a more "lived in" appearance. Clear Power's EZ Digital timers are the simplest timers to program. The built-in battery backup keeps the time even when the power goes out, and enables programming without having the timer plugged into the wall outlet. Since there is no clock to set, all you have to do is press one button to set when you want the timer to turn on (delay start) and one button for how long you want it to run (run time). One more button controls whether you want this to repeat daily. The outdoor patented EZ timer is the simplest outdoor rated digital timer to program. Press one button to select the start time and another button to set how long it will run. The timer is programmed in 15 minute intervals, so the "delay start" and "run time" are both programmed so that the timer will start in X hours and 15, 30 or 45 minutes. The "run time" would be for X hours and 15, 30 or 45 minutes. A third button will set the timer to repeat the cycle daily. There is also a "random mode" which is ideal for vacations to provide a "lived in" look as it will turn on/off up to 30 minutes before or after the originally set times.
