I just bought a replacement for the first Nelson 56607 timer I purchased several years ago and couldn't be happier with the product. I had previously tried a Rainbird and one other brand I can't remember, both at a similar price-point/style as this, and neither worked well, nor did they last long. The only reason my previous Nelson broke was my own fault. I will say, however, that you'd do best to keep the LCD screen out of direct sunlight, as it will cause cracking and will fade the numbers a bit. I highly recommend this product!!
